Important: Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before enrolling in any program at our Spanish school in Buenos Aires (Spanish course or Spanish course plus accommodation). By accepting a Spanish program with us, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

Upon receiving your application, you will be prompted to remit the total cost of your selected program via PayPal. It is crucial to understand that your spot in the program is only fully confirmed once this payment has been successfully processed. 

Our Commitment: We want you to have a positive and enriching experience at Ibero Spanish School, both in the classroom and in your accommodation. These Terms and Conditions outline our expectations and your responsibilities during your time with us.

Spanish Course and Accommodation in Buenos Aires:

Accommodation at Palacio Piedras:

• Location: Palacio Piedras is located in downtown Buenos Aires at the same location as the school.
• Check-in: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
• Check-out: Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
• Legally Binding Contract: Booking accommodation through us constitutes a legally binding contract. This contract grants you the right to reside in the assigned accommodation for the agreed-upon period, subject to these terms and conditions, and obligates you to pay the accommodation fee.
• Implied Acceptance: Moving into the accommodation without formally accepting the agreement implies acceptance through your actions.
• Non-Occupancy: If you fail to occupy the accommodation within 14 days of the agreement's start date without prior notification or agreement from us, we reserve the right to re-let the room. We will make reasonable attempts to contact you before doing so. You remain liable for accommodation fees up to the date of re-letting.

Spanish Language Course Conduct:

• You are expected to maintain respectful behavior toward your Spanish instructors and all Ibero staff.
• Disrespectful behavior may result in removal from the Spanish course without any refund.
• Missed classes by the students, except for documented medical reasons or COVID-related absences, will not be made up.
• Classes lost because of national holidays are not made up or reimbursed.In accordance with Argentine labor regulations and our established policies, classes canceled due to national holidays are not made up. These instances fall outside of our regular scheduling and are considered circumstances beyond our control. This policy ensures that our instructors are fairly compensated and that our class schedules remain consistent throughout the year. 
• You are required to attend all in person Spanish classes.
• We have your permission to share your video and pictures with social media.
• We may publish your course feedback on our social media networks or websites.

Student Absences

All Spanish classes are scheduled and resources are allocated based on student enrollment. Consequently, if a student misses a scheduled class for any personal reason, a refund cannot be issued. The class was available and the service was rendered at the scheduled time. We encourage all students to prioritize their attendance to maximize their learning investment.

Instructor Absences

We are committed to providing uninterrupted Spanish language instruction. However, in the rare event that an instructor is unable to teach a class due to illness or an unavoidable emergency, the following procedure will apply:

• We will notify all enrolled students as soon as possible.
• A make-up session will be scheduled at a new time, coordinated by the instructor to accommodate the students. This ensures that no instructional time is lost.

Missed Make-up Sessions

The rescheduled make-up session is the official replacement for the originally cancelled class. If a student is unable to attend this scheduled make-up session, they will forfeit the class. As the opportunity to make up the lost time was provided, no refunds or additional rescheduling will be possible for a missed make-up session.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy, which allows us to maintain the structure and quality of our language programs.

Additional Considerations:

• Severe misconduct or disruptive behavior may lead to expulsion from the program and notification of local authorities.
• Defamatory statements about the school on any platform may result in legal action within the jurisdiction of Argentine courts or international law, if applicable.
• "The school" refers to Ibero Spanish School, and "the student" is the person named on the booking.

Agreement and Payment:

• This agreement becomes legally binding upon the school's receipt of a completed registration form or when the school confirms your booking details and receives the required payment.
• All program fees, including accommodation if applicable, must be paid within one week of application. If you do not pay for your program within this timeframe, we will remove you from the program.

Cancellation by the Student:

• No refunds will be issued for any of our programs. Our Spanish courses can only be rescheduled.
• No refunds will be issued after the Spanish course start date.
• No Transfer of Program Costs: Program costs are non-transferable and cannot be transferred to another individual.
