Íbero has eight levels (Beginner I, Beginner II, Intermediate I, Intermediate II, Intermediate III, Pre-advanced, Advanced and Superior). Classes emphasize the acquisition of oral and written language skills so that students leave being able to read, write, speak and hear Spanish. Using our own line of Íbero Spanish learning books, our method is a modern, task-based approach in which the student builds the language in an active and interactive setting. This makes the lessons both effective and cost-effective!
Instructors are devoted to explaining grammar in an easy way, avoiding the monotony of the less diverse learning approach. Students learn in a fun environment in which they can use the Spanish language naturally. In this way, students progress rapidly and easily.
The instructors assess each student’s knowledge and objectives on the first day of class. This means everyone leaves completely satisfied, having addressed his or her own learning objectives through a personally tailored course.
We have well-trained, native instructors with bachelor’s and/or master’s degrees in fields such as linguistics and Spanish literature. A full-time office staff ensures each student gets personalized attention and has fun while studying at Íbero. The staff is always happy to help with classes, accommodation, tourist information or any other matters.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How long does it take to move from one level to the next? Our levels are designed to be completed in three weeks (60 hours) of instruction. This structured pace ensures you build a solid foundation before advancing to more complex grammar.
I have a basic understanding but struggle to speak. Is this school right for me? Absolutely. Many of our students can read or write but feel "blocked" when speaking. Our methodology is communicative-first, designed to help you move your passive knowledge into active conversation through daily practice in real-life situations.
Will I learn the "Argentine accent"? Yes! While we teach you universal Spanish grammar, we integrate local "Porteño" nuances, such as the use of "vos" and the distinctive Rioplatense pronunciation. This allows you to navigate the streets of Buenos Aires like a local.
Is it possible to stay for a short time, like two weeks? Yes. While our levels are three weeks long, you can enroll for any duration. You will receive a certificate for the total hours completed and a breakdown of the specific topics you mastered during your stay.
Can I pay for my Spanish course in Buenos Aires upon arrival? To secure your spot in our small groups or to book a room in our onsite housing, we recommend a deposit via PayPal. However, we are flexible and can discuss payment structures that help you manage your budget and travel plans.
