Does Argentina or other countries around the world require students to have a bachelor’s degree along with their TEFL certificate?

Argentina and most countries throughout Latin America do not require you to have a bachelor’s degree. There are some countries, for example, like Japan and the United States, that do require a higher level of education alongside TEFL. However, in general you will find that the majority of TEFL students have no problem finding a job without a degree all around the world.

Do I need to know how to speak Spanish?

The TEFL course does not require you to speak Spanish. However, Íbero does suggest that students study Spanish in Buenos Aires as a way to become part of the culture, meet foreign friends, and be able to get around Argentina and the rest of South America a little easier. Plus, Spanish is an exciting language that is spoken all over the world and new opportunities may open up for those who speak it.
