Terms and Conditions

All Ibero Spanish School students will abide by the following rules

Our Commitment to a Positive and Respectful Learning Environment

To foster an exceptional educational experience for all, we are dedicated to maintaining a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment. We believe that mutual respect is the cornerstone of academic success. The following policies have been established to ensure the integrity of our programs and the well-being of our community.

1. Code of Conduct and Community Respect

We are proud to provide a top-quality education with personalized attention from university-level professors. To protect the integrity of our institution and the well-being of our community, all students are expected to conduct themselves with professionalism and respect.

  • Mutual Respect: All students and staff are expected to interact with courtesy and consideration for one another, as well as for our local culture and country.
  • Prohibition of Defamation: Defamation, libel, and slander are strictly prohibited. Our institution is committed to upholding a positive and collaborative atmosphere. In accordance with Argentine Law 26.551, individuals found liable for defamation are subject to monetary sanctions. However, an individual may be exempt from punishment if they provide a timely retraction. Should the institution's reputation be harmed, we reserve the right to pursue civil remedies for compensation.
  • Classroom Decorum: To ensure an optimal Spanish learning environment, students cannot attend class under the influence of alcohol or other disruptive substances. Disrespectful or improper behavior towards instructors or peers is not permitted. Students who violate these standards will be removed from their class.
  • Safety and Preparation: Students must refrain from bringing any dangerous, illegal, or improper materials to the institution. We also ask that students arrive prepared for each lesson with the necessary school materials.

2. Attendance and Punctuality

Consistent attendance is crucial for Spanish language academic progress. We ask students to be punctual for all our Spanish lessons. Excessive unexcused absences or tardiness may result in the forfeiture of class time. Students are expected to remain in their designated classrooms for the duration of the class period.

3. Payments, Refunds, and Rescheduling

  • Payment Processing: A small administrative fee may apply to payments made via PayPal or wire transfer.
  • Refund and Rescheduling Policy: Once payment for a course is made, it is considered non-refundable. We do not offer refunds for students who are unable to attend their scheduled classes. However, we offer the flexibility to reschedule your program with a validity of one year from the original start date.
  • Non-Transferability: Spanish course enrollments are non-transferable and cannot be passed on to third parties.

4. Class Scheduling, Holidays, and Unexpected Disruptions

  • National Holidays: Our Spanish language school observes all Argentinian national holidays. Spanish classes will not be held on these days and are not subject to reimbursement or rescheduling. To support continued Spanish learning, students will receive asynchronous activities on these dates.
  • Strikes and Public Disruptions: In the event of a strike or other public disruption that prevents in-person instruction, Spanish classes will seamlessly transition to an online format. In cases of force majeure, such as street blockades, we will work to reorganize the missed lesson at a suitable time.
  • Student Absences: Make-up Spanish classes are not provided for student absences, with the exception of illness confirmed by a doctor's prescription.
  • Institution-led Cancellations: Should our institution need to cancel a Spanish class for any reason, a make-up session will be scheduled based on student availability.

5. Institutional Policies

  • Right of Admission: We reserve the right of admission to maintain the Spanish language learning academic standards and integrity of our Spanish learning environment.
  • Spanish Group Class Integrity: Our Spanish group classes are designed to foster collaborative learning and cannot be converted into private lessons.
  • Exclusive Materials: Our proprietary Spanish learning textbooks are provided exclusively to students enrolled in a Spanish course of two weeks or more.

We thank you for your understanding and cooperation. These policies allow us to deliver a consistently high-quality and fair Spanish language learning educational experience for everyone
